Biography

Trish Puckett has always been fascinated by the camera and photography. At the age of 12 her father taught her the basic principles of f-stop, aperture and composition, and from then on every family get together, special occasion and beautiful setting became an opportunity for creative expression. While the subjects are always changing, the compelling aspects of her photos are the quality of light, texture and sense of place.

She has used her photographs to record and display the houses and interiors she creates during her real job as an award winning building designer, but gets great pleasure from discovering those perfect images that evoke emotions and bring happiness to her friends and family.

Since 1992 Trish has enjoyed running her own business. She is, though, happy to be finding the time again to explore the creative world of photography.

Trish currently lives in Victoria, BC with her family. In 2005, Trish was selected as one of the Artists in Residence for the Victoria Tall Ships Festival.
