Program Director's Message
Welcome to the website for the 2006 State of Art Show and Sale.
The 2006 State of Art Show and Sale, a participating venue in the Capital Arts Festival, is a best of show presenting a diverse range of contemporary works by 14 practicing professional visual artists who live and work in the Greater Victoria Capital Regional District.
Our two-week event will be held at the Community Arts Council of Greater Victoria, located at G6-1001 Douglas Street, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, from October 5 to October 18, 2006, 10AM to 5PM daily. Admission is Free.
Opening Night will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2006, 6-10PM. Artists will be in attendance, as well as community dignitaries, VIP's and media. Featuring live music by guitarist John MacArthur and bassist Don Cox.
