Artist's Statement

"I have always been drawn to things in the natural world as painting subjects. In my recent work I'm still using organic forms, but they are becoming more abstracted and mixed with personal symbols and imagery. Along with landscapes and florals, I'm beginning to explore themes of memory, dreams and the experiences we carry with us in our bodies."
