Alma de España Flamenco Dance Company, under the direction of Veronica Maguire and Harry Owen, has for the past 16 years, been a part of the cultural and artistic fabric of Victoria’s performing scene, thrilling audiences with their energy and their dedication to this soulful and passionate art form. Every year, they perform in Concert, Flamenco Tablaos, Latin Festivals, and many showcases, as well as host their Annual Flamenco Workshops with internationally known guest artists from Canada, US, and Spain.

Alma de España presents "Flamenco Guitarist Gareth Owen in Concert". Gareth Owen, a sensational and dynamic flamenco guitarist extraordinaire, is rapidly gaining recognition for his incredible talent as a soloist. His performances draw you into a passionate world of polyrhythmical sounds with such magical flare and virtuosity, one can only say OLÉ ! An evening of flamenco music features guest artists: flamenco guitarist Harry Owen, flamenco dancer Veronica Maguire, violinist Emily Redhead, and members of the Alma de España Flamenco Dance Company.
