Summer, Fall & Winter, 2007:
The Trutch Street Women by Ellen Arrand
This play was a finalist in Theatre BC's National Play-writing Contest. This moving story captures the passion of the feminist movement in the early 1970's, as a group of young single mothers band together for friendship and support to challenge the status quo.
June 20 - July 7, 2007
The Diary of a Madman by Nikolai Gogol
Follow Axenty Ivanovitch's hilarious - yet tragic - descent into madness in this great classic. His disintegrating grasp on reality makes us question our own definitions of "normal".
Performed by Clayton Jevne, "An elastic man with an enormous talent." (CBC Ottawa).
July 17 - August 18, 2007
Possessions by Kevin Land
Possessions is based on the true story of Anneliese Michel; who died following a Vatican approved exorcism in the 1970's. Land's interpretation of the events has produced a very human account of good intentions gone horribly wrong.

Diary of a Madman by Nikolai Gogol and The Dream of a Ridiculous Man by Fyodor Dostoyevsky
This is a double bill show of two of the world's greatest writers from the 19th century. Theatre Inconnu founder - and Artistic Director - Clayton Jevne, first performed Dostoevsky's tale twenty years ago; and to help celebrate the tenacity of our company, he will be reprising this piece, along with a new production of Gogol's masterpiece.
The Diary of a Madman is a comic masterpiece profiling a struggling civil servant's delusions of grandeur. Although we begin by laughing at his grandiose delusions, as the intensity of his aberration strengthens, his journey takes on a frightening dimension, causing us all to question our own definitions of reality.
The Dream of a Ridiculous Man is an "other-worldly" and inspiring tale of a character who journeys from a state of despair into one of enlightenment, joy, and compassion. This is not the "dark" Dostoyevsky, but rather a writer who sees the unlimited potential for each individual to contribute to an earthly paradise. Clayton's solo performances have been critically acclaimed internationally, so try not to miss this holiday treat From theatre Inconnu's "founding father".
