A Taste of Spain is what you will get at the 7th annual Flamenco Feria, presented by the Flamenco de la Isla Society as part of the Capital Arts Festival. This is Victoria's favourite Flamenco event. So what happens at this fantastic Feria? The evening features an exciting silent auction with proceeds going to the development and support of the local Flamenco community. What really makes this event special is the performance of fiery Flamenco music and spirited dancing by the Alma de España Flamenco Dance Company. Everyone loves the swirling skirts and authentic passion of Victoria's finest Flamenco Company. Flamenco music and traditions are shared among family and friends, spanning generations. Special at this year's Feria, the artists of Alma de España's touring show, "Familia Flamenca," will share their talent and energy through the intricate rhythms of Flamenco, helping you find your own Flamenco heartbeat.
To complete your Flamenco experience, a fashion show explaining changes and trends in Flamenco costumes is always fun and educational.
